Villa Nocetta: A Luxurious Mid-Century Oasis in the Heart of Rome

Villa Nocetta: A Luxurious Mid-Century Oasis in the Heart of Rome

Villa Nocetta offers the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of life, combining spacious communal areas, a private pool, and lush gardens. Built in the late 1950s by a renowned Roman industrialist, it’s an ideal retreat nestled in the heart of Rome. The villa boasts expansive and tranquil grounds, creating an oasis of privacy and relaxation in the city centre. The villa’s private garden is a natural haven adorned with maritime pines, palm and orange trees, and a diverse array of plants and flowers. Children can enjoy the refreshing swimming pool while parents relax and sunbathe, making this rare gem perfect for your next family vacation.

Upon entering Villa Nocetta, guests are welcomed by a brightly lit, elegant hall featuring marble flooring and Persian carpets. The refined furnishings and décor create a homely atmosphere, ensuring guests feel as if they are in their own private residence while enjoying the beauty of Rome. The villa comfortably accommodates 10 guests with five well-appointed bedrooms and bathrooms, a fitness room, a pool table and all modern amenities. One recently-renovated suite with independent access is able to accommodate two additional guests.

Architect Stefania Pessina of the Monza-based Studio Pessina designed Villa Nocetta, showcasing sleek mid-century style furniture. This period produced designs like the iconic “Arco Lamp” by Achille Castiglioni, known for its arching design and marble base. The property’s private grounds, with mature trees, pathways, and hedges, enhance its appeal. Villa Nocetta offers a more authentic Roman experience, complete with delightful and convenient amenities, ideal for an intimate holiday, and provides a perfect alternative to traditional city-centre accommodation in Rome.
