The extensive grounds include beautifully landscaped gardens, perfect for outdoor events, as well as a nine-hole golf course and a hard tennis court for guests looking to keep active during their stay.
The River Blackmore runs along the edge of the estate and guests can enjoy salmon fishing from its banks, or take a leisurely canoe or kayak trip down the river.
Indoors, the castle maintains its historic charm with opulent furnishings, timeless chandeliers and original artworks. However, guests can enjoy all the modern comforts including satellite TV, home cinema and sound systems, and Wi-Fi.
There are plenty of spaces to relax throughout the castle which features a drawing room, two sitting rooms, a library, a games room with a full-size billiards table, and a fully-equipped playroom/nursery for younger guests.

There is a second smaller dining room for more intimate gatherings and guests have the option of formal or informal dining, themed or traditional events. Meals can be expertly paired with wines from the castle’s own cellar.
The 15 beautifully-appointed bedrooms (11 doubles, one twin, and three singles) sleeping up to 27 guests in total. Most bedrooms boast en-suite facilities with the two singles sharing a bathroom ideal for children.
