Location
Chalet Peak is located in the heart of the upmarket ski resort of Zermatt, which lies under the world-famous Matterhorn in the German-speaking canton of Valais.
There is a ski store beneath the chalet and it is just 5 minutes’ drive from both main ski lifts – The Sunnega and The Matterhorn – allowing guests easy access to the slopes.
With the ski slopes between 1700 and 4000 metres above sea level and a vast glacier, Zermatt offers year-round skiing. Furthermore, it connects with the neighbouring Italian resort of Cervinia, allowing those with the International Ski Pass to ride over the border in winter months.
The resort centre is a short walk from the chalet. The cobbled streets are lined with high-end mountain wear boutiques, top restaurants, and chic après ski bars.
During the summer months, guests can enjoy a host of outdoor activities including glacier skiing, cycling, mountain biking, hiking, boating, fishing, lake swimming, water skiing, and golfing.
Zermatt is a car-free resort but guests can make use of the 24-hour electric taxi service.
