Location
Piz Surlej is only a stone’s throw away from the historic centre of St Moritz Bad, an upmarket ski resort in the Swiss Alps.
With its outstanding scenery, altitude, and exceptional snow, St. Moritz is considered one of the Alps’ best destinations for winter sports. There is 350km of pistes, across the four main ski areas of Corvatsch, Corviglia, Diavolezza/Lagalb and Zuoz, and six smaller ski areas. Each ski area offers terrain for all levels of skier or boarder.
St Moritz is also famous among cross-country skiers as it offers over 220 km of trails.
In the summer months, those trails are perfect for cyclists. The resort also features a tennis and squash complex with both indoor and outdoor courts, as well as a spa and sports centre with a swimming pool.
Après ski in St Moritz is a little more relaxed than other well-known Swiss ski resorts, however, there are still great on-mountain après huts and lively village pubs to enjoy. For evenings out, there is a host of upmarket bars and pubs to enjoy.
