Villa Es Bec d’Aguila

Set on a hilltop, surrounded by lush countryside, Villa Es Bec d’Aguila is a beautiful 19th century property ideal for a relaxing getaway in beautiful Menorca. Sleeping up to 22 guests, the property is perfect for getaways with loved ones or for intimate events.

The villa is set amongst beautifully-landscaped gardens, which feature a stunning fountain, hammocks hanging from trees, and an organic vegetable garden, orangery, and olive grove, creating an idyllic space for relaxation. Guests can enjoy a friendly game of table tennis or Petanque, or try their hand at ceramics in the workshop. Younger visitors will love the play area with its tree house, and will delight in the chicken coop and bee hives providing fresh eggs and honey to the chef.

Many hours will be spent by the poolside, soaking up the rays from the surrounding sun loungers, or enjoying a book in the shade of a luxurious day bed. Beside the pool is an outdoor kitchen with a barbeque and shaded wooden table, perfect for al fresco meals. A second outdoor dining table is located on one of the many terraces.

Terraces stretch off each level of the villa, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee in the country air, or sipping an aperitif as the sun sets behind the rolling hills.

The villa’s interior exudes Menorcan style with white-washed walls and vaulted ceilings. It is beautifully-decorated with bespoke geometric tiling, mid-century furniture, and a mix of modern art and timeless photos of the original farm workers lining the walls.

Throughout the villa are plenty of relaxation areas including two spacious lounges with comfortable seating and garden views, as well as a club-style living room with a stunning marble bar, plush seating around a wood-burning fireplace, a library, and a card table. Upstairs is a cosy cinema room with bean bag seating, ideal for keeping younger guests entertained. There are also several quiet alcoves on the ground floor, perfect for catching up on a holiday read or enjoying a morning coffee.

Those keeping up with their fitness will appreciate the fully-equipped gym with outdoor deck, perfect for exercising in the sunshine. There’s also a separate barn area with a yoga studio for up to 20 people.

The grand dining room is perfect for more formal meals; in the fully-equipped, family-style kitchen is a more casual marble breakfast table with beautiful pendant lights hanging overhead.
