This 16th-century estate, nestled in 130 hectares of charming countryside with pine forests, is only four kilometres from pristine beaches and affords awe-inspiring views of Mallorcan mountain ranges, Cape Formentor and Alcudia Bay.
Guests will be astounded by the seven gardens they can stroll through – each garden is designed around a water source, including an Arabia-styled fountain, a system of cascading ponds, a music fountain and the pool. There is a labyrinth of pathways surrounded by jasmine and bougainvillea which connect the gardens.
This unique villa rental spans two floors, accommodating up to 16 guests in the eight bedrooms. It is decorated according to local tradition and offers panoramic views of the whole island of Mallorca. On the ground floor, there are indoor and outdoor dining rooms and a beautiful farmhouse kitchen. From the kitchen, guests can access the courtyard with its charming fountain, and the porch, which leads to the family chapel and a bedroom suite.
Ascending a flight of stairs, guests will reach the first floor with a living area, the library, and the bedrooms. The spacious living area features a grand piano and a fireplace, while the library is a secluded retreat for those who want to escape with their favourite book or just sit and admire the views across to Cape Formentor.
Each of the bedrooms has its own living area and fireplace, as well as direct access to terraces overlooking the gardens.
There are plenty of activities for guests to pursue in the surrounding area, from horse riding, hiking and cycling to visiting archaeological sites and art galleries. Moreover, the yacht clubs of Colonia San Pere, Can Picafort and Port d’Alcudia and the golf courses of Pula, Canyemel and Capdepera are only a short drive away.

Villa Son Doblons magnificent estate sits in the North East of the island of Mallorca, the largest island of Spain. It is located in the Mediterranean Sea and is part of the Balearic Islands archipelago. The capital of the island, Palma, is also the capital of the autonomous community of the Balearic Islands. This area is considered to be one of the most beautiful and unique of all areas in the Balearic Islands.
There are numerous watersports to be pursued here, along with equestrian opportunities throughout the nearby countryside. The area is also one rich in history, with places similar to that of Son Doblons in their historical roots dating back centuries.
The villages of great beauty, Arta, Petra, Capdepera and Son Servera are the closest ones to Villa Son Doblons. In Son Servera, a renowned art gallery, Sa Pleta Freda, can be seen, where major Spanish contemporary painters and sculptors exhibited their works.
A prehistoric necropolis and other archaeological remains such as Illot des Porros, which will surprise history lovers can be found in the area.
A mere 20 minute drive leads to the golf courses of Pula, Canyamel or Capdepera. The yacht clubs of the Colonia de San Pere, Can Picafort and Port d’Alcúdia are also within a short distance of Villa Son Doblons.
