Villa Grifone is an exclusive private property in a secluded location between the hills of Maremma and the Mediterranean Sea. Although situated in such a pristine position, this villa is served by roads and railways that connect it to the major cities of Rome and Florence. The spectacular Tuscan coastline is only 12 kilometres away.
Guests will enjoy a relaxed holiday amidst beautiful, unspoiled natural surroundings. Enclosed by centuries-old olive groves and a natural landscapes, guests may often encounter deer and hares wandering the paths.
Outdoors, the villa features an impeccably-manicured garden filled with Mediterranean flora including rosemary, lavender, jasmine and myrtle. The main attraction of the outdoor environment is the chlorine-free swimming pool, which is surrounded by a lush lawn, ideal for barefoot walking. The property also boasts a generous al fresco dining and seating area, where guests can spend time together whilst enjoying good food and indulging in the Tuscan climate.
The villa features a minimalist style and a modern energy system. Architect Alfredo Amati designed and engineered the property, making it a comfortable holiday home that is also environmentally-friendly.
Inside, the living area features an open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area, which opens out onto an external patio, perfect for maximising space for larger groups. The highlight of the living room is the central fireplace, located right in the centre of the room. The modern kitchen features only top-of-the-range facilities along with an indoor barbecue that is perfect for receptions. To further enhance the symbiotic relationship with the surrounding nature, this property has been equipped with large windows that allow guests to constantly enjoy the views.
Four bedrooms can accommodate up to eight guests comfortably. The master bedroom boasts a king-sized bed, an en-suite bathroom with a marble sink, a functioning fireplace, and a large French window offering views of the olive grove. The second and third bedrooms feature double beds and en-suite bathrooms, and enjoy independent access from the patio. The fourth bedroom is located in the attic and has access to a private shower room on the ground floor. With its cosier size and twin beds, this room is ideal for children.
