Traditional farmhouse villa with uninterrupted views of the Tuscan countryside
Perched atop the Tuscan hillside lies Villa Poggia Fibbia, a traditional farmhouse with panoramic views, which has been tastefully renovated with modern amenities. Its privileged location less at aprox. 1.8 km from the charming medieval village of Radicofani makes it the ideal property for a relaxing countryside escape.
The spacious garden features a large, in-ground swimming pool and outdoor lighting. There is plenty of outdoor seating, with a mix of loungers ideal for topping up a tan and shaded loungers where guests can immerse themselves in a holiday read, or simply take in the stunning views.
Al fresco meals can be enjoyed in the sunny garden or at the dining table on the shaded terrace and there is a barbecue perfect for warm, summer evenings.
The three-storey villa was built using local stone and the interiors reflect the history of the property with traditional furnishings, complemented by modern art and design pieces from around the world. High, exposed-beam ceilings and painted window shutters add to the charm of this traditional property.
Throughout the villa there are three living rooms to socialise and relax in, all featuring flat screen TVs and comfortable seating, as well as a formal dining room and a bright, fully-equipped kitchen ideal for cooking up an Italian feast.
Each of the five bedrooms boasts en-suite facilities and stunning feature walls with hand-painted frescoes, inspired by the surrounding landscapes. There are three double bedrooms, one twin and one triple room, ideal for families with children. In addition, there is a sofa bed in one of the living rooms, which can sleep an extra guest if required.
With its spectacular location and beautiful, traditional feel, Villa Poggio Fibbia is the perfect property for a holiday with family and friends in the stunning Tuscan countryside.
NB: The villa’s internal staircase does not have handrails, so the property is not suitable for families with younger children

Location
Villa Poggio Fibbia lies just five minutes from the medieval village of Radicofani in the Val d’Orcia area of Tuscany. This region stretches from the hills south of Siena to Monte Amiata and is characterised by rolling green hills with charming towns and villages dotted throughout.
The pretty, cobbled streets of Radicofani are home to a variety of restaurants and bars, as well as a few gift shops and delicatessens to explore. The 13th Century church of San Pietro is a must-see for its stunning Romanesque architecture and interior frescoes and oil paintings.
The fortress of Radicofani is one of the most spectacular castles in Tuscany. Perched high atop the hillside, the fortress dates back to around the year 1000. Visitors can visit the balcony on top of the tower to take in panoramic views.
The Val d’Orcia region is known for producing some of Italy’s finest wines, cheeses and olive oils, which visitors can sample in any of the nearby towns including Pienza, Montepulciano and Montalcino.
