Villa Conti

Set in the heart of the picturesque Tuscan countryside, between the historic Val di Chiana and the lush Val d’Orcia, Villa Conti is the perfect place for a rural retreat. Originally built as a convent in the mid 1500s, the property has been carefully restored to retain its original character, combined with modern luxuries.

Surrounding the villa is 65 hectares of hilly landscape with beautiful gardens, an expansive olive grove, and abundant fruit trees. A highlight of the grounds is the imposing 100-year-old oak tree, offering respite from the sun. A 12-metre swimming pool overlooks the verdant valleys below and is surrounded by sun loungers for guests to relax on. Guests can relax in the outdoor lounge and dining areas, and enjoy al fresco feasts cooked up in the barbecue or outdoor wood-fire oven.

Inside the villa, each room has been beautifully-decorated with a mix of antique and handmade furniture, precious fabrics, and contemporary pieces, creating a unique style. Guests are welcomed into a beautiful entrance hall, with high ceilings and elegant furnishings. Heading through a brick archway, is the charming lounge area with its plush and vibrantly-coloured sofas surrounding a wood-burning fireplace, and cosy nooks for enjoying a holiday read or a morning coffee.

The separate dining room is flooded with light from the floor-to-ceiling window overlooking the garden. It combines a traditional wooden table with modern design seating and statement lighting, creating the perfect environment for convivial meals with loved ones. Beside the dining room is the fully-equipped kitchen, which can be used by guests or a hired private chef, as desired.

To keep everyone entertained, there’s a games room with a pool table and smart TV; this room can also be converted to a meeting room for corporate events. Moreover, a small but well-equipped gym allows guests to keep up their fitness routine during their stay.

The villa’s seven suites are spread throughout the main house and its separate annex. Each room has been beautifully-designed with its own individual style and all boast en-suite bathrooms.

There are three Deluxe Suites with queen-size beds and garden views, one of which offers disabled access with its ground floor entrance and accessible shower. The three Junior Suites are located on the first floor of the main house and all have king-size, four-poster beds, beamed ceilings, and views over the Val di Chiana. The master bedroom is located in the tower of the monastery and features a king-size bed, exposed beam ceilings, a luxurious bathroom, and panoramic views.
