Villa Ponti Bellavista is a beautiful mid-century property in Lake Como, offering spectacular 180° views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. The vast lawns and pool area offer spectacular lake views. Sun loungers and umbrellas line the 12-metre swimming pool, which features a shallow children’s pool on a lower level. There is also a sauna cabin, for true relaxation. Moreover, the lawn features a built-in bocce court to entertain all ages.

Each level of the villa has terraces and balconies offering plenty of outdoor living and dining spaces. The garden terrace features a barbecue and an al fresco dining table just off the kitchen, ideal for relaxed breakfasts in the shade. The middle balcony has panoramic views of the lake to be soaked up from outdoor lounge chairs or the six-seater dining table, which lies under the shade of the terrace above. Finally, the top-floor terrace has two eight-seater dining tables perfect for a dinner party with a dramatic backdrop.

Designed in collaboration with renowned Italian architect Gio Ponti, this carefully-renovated, mid-century villa retains many period pieces. Several bathrooms feature the original 1960s tiles, and throughout the property, there are carefully curated vintage pieces such as a bar, a rocking chair, handmade wardrobes and more.

The main floor of the villa has an expansive living and dining area with a curved wall lined with windows for panoramic views. Comfortable and colourful seating lines the windows, providing plenty of space to appreciate the view. There is also a sunken conversation lounge with a fireplace for cooler evenings, an original 1960s dining table seating 14 guests, a vintage bar, and chic designer lighting throughout to create a welcoming atmosphere. A fully-equipped kitchen lies off the living area, and it features bespoke cherry wood cabinets and a large kitchen island for preparing delicious feasts.

A stunning spiral staircase leads guests down to the second living room on the middle floor. This room features another sitting area with a view, a six-seater dining table, and a well-equipped kitchenette.

The six well-appointed bedrooms are located over two floors. The two top floor bedrooms feature king-size beds and en-suite facilities, with one also boasting direct terrace access. The middle floor is home to a triple en-suite room with a king-size bed plus a single sofa, a king-size room with an en-suite bathroom, and – finally – a king-size and double bedroom with a shared bathroom, ideal for families.
