Chalet Cesa del Louf
5 Bedrooms — 20 Guests
Beautiful, traditional chalet with direct access to the slopes of the Dolomites
Located in Arabba in the heart of the Dolomites, Chalet Cesa del Louf is a beautiful, authentic alpine property. This ski-in/ski-out property sleeps up to 20 guests throughout the main house and guest accommodation.
The property includes almost 25000 square metres of pasture and woodland, giving guests privacy and space to relax. More confident riders can enjoy the convenience of skiing right back to the door via an off-piste route, whilst beginners can practise their skills on the small, private ski slope with rope tow lift.
Built from natural stone and ancient wood, the chalet itself is an ancient farmhouse comprised of two buildings, both of which have been lovingly restored and refurbished with all the modern luxuries. Balconies and terraces surround the chalet, offering panoramic mountain views; the perfect place to relax on sunny afternoons, or to check out the heavens with the chalet’s telescope on clear nights.
The chalet also boasts a private heliport, allowing guests to arrive in style, take scenic helicopter flights, or go heliskiing in the backcountry straight from their doorstep.
Indoors, high-beamed ceilings and original features such as antique door locks add to the authentic feel of the chalet. Floor-to-ceiling windows allow guests to enjoy the stunning views from the comfort of their lounge chair or dining table, whilst a crackling fireplace is perfect for cosy evenings in. There is a fully-equipped kitchen for guest use, or a private chef can be arranged for a catered experience.
A cinema room with large projector screen and comfy seating is perfect for a family film night, whilst the spa area offers a place to truly unwind after a day on the slopes. The spa features an indoor swimming pool with a counter-current system, a Jacuzzi, a sauna, a hammam, and a relaxation area.
There are three suites in the main chalet (Masa) and two in the guest house (Masetto), all of which have en-suite bathrooms. Each of the three suites in the main chalet features a double bed on the ground floor, plus a mezzanine living space, which can be used for additional beds, making it ideal for families with children. The two suites in the guest house also feature double beds; one suite also has a double sofa bed, plus space for an additional single bed for larger groups.
For an authentic alpine experience in complete privacy and luxury, Chalet Cesa del Louf is the ideal choice at any time of year.

About the area
Chalet Cesa del Louf is located in the charming alpine village of Arabba in the stunning Dolomites mountain range of Italy. The village is quieter than some of its neighbouring ski resorts but it has an authentic Italian alpine feel and offers a small collection of restaurants, bars and shops to explore.
During the winter season, guests have direct access to the slopes from their doorstep, or the nearest lifts and groomed pistes are just a short snow cat ride away. At an altitude of 1600 metres, it’s one of the highest resorts in the region and offers a great mix of open and tree-covered runs. There are several ski tours that riders can take alone or with a guide, including the Sella Ronda ski tour and the Dolomiti ski safari. Moreover, visitors can purchase the Dolomiti Superski pass to explore over 1200 km of piste including the neighbouring ski areas of Canazei, the Mormolada glacier and Cortina.
Off the slopes, snow-shoeing, wildlife spotting, and stargazing are but a few of the activities to be enjoyed.
The region is also perfect for summertime wilderness escapes with excellent hiking, cycling, mountain biking and climbing routes throughout. The Hero Dolomites bike route is a must for cyclists, as it passes within 50 metres of the chalet.
