About the area
H2O Art Beach Villa is located on the shores of the Agios Nikolaos region of Crete, overlooking Mirabello Bay. The villa offers direct sea access and is just 50 metres from sandy Ammoudara Beach. Several of the island’s top beaches are also an easy walk or short drive away.
The city of Agios Nikolaos is known for its chic waterfront restaurants and bustling cafes spread along Lake Voulismeni, as well as its vibrant nightlife.
Inland, the charming village of Krista offers visitors a glimpse of time gone by. The settlement’s cobblestone streets wind through stone houses draped in bougainvillaea, and narrow alleyways are dotted with artisanal workshops where handmade ceramics, textiles and jewellery are crafted.
Nearby Elounda is also worth a visit. This former fishing village sits on the edge of the idyllic lagoon of Korfus Bay, between the shores of Crete and the historic island of Spinalonga.
