Set within the grounds of the beautiful Château de Berne eco-resort, Villa Vanado is ideal for those seeking top hotel facilities combined with the intimacy and serenity of a private villa.
Lush green lawns are dotted with olive, pine and cypress trees, offering plenty of space to soak up the fresh country air. The stone walls throughout the gardens perfectly embody the charm of regional Provence.
The focal point of the garden area is the 16-metre heated swimming pool. One side of the pool is lined with sun loungers for soaking up the rays after a rejuvenating dip, and the other features a wooden deck shaded by large umbrellas where guests can enjoy poolside refreshments throughout the day.
The 2.7-acre grounds feature several more outdoor living areas where guests can make the most of the Provencal sunshine. A paved terrace with wicker seating is ideal for enjoying a morning coffee or evening aperitif surrounded by nature. A second terrace features more outdoor seating and a long, wooden dining table perfect for convivial al fresco feasts.
Indoors, a warm colour palette, wooden detailing, and exposed ceiling beams create a cosy, homely atmosphere. The living room is bathed in natural light flowing through arched doorways, which open to the terrace. It features plush sofas surrounding a crackling fireplace, perfect for snuggling around on cooler evenings.
For quieter moments of solitude, guests can head to the cosy library, with its comfy sofas and floor-to-ceiling bookcase boasting a well-stocked collection of literature.
A large farmhouse kitchen exudes charm and adds to the villa’s homely atmosphere. It features a beautiful, hand-crafted wooden table, ideal for atmospheric dinner parties and lazy weekend brunches.
The villa features five elegant bedrooms, all with super-king-size beds and en-suite facilities. One room can be converted into a twin room, offering more flexibility for groups.
The villa is about three minutes’ drive from the hotel, making its vast range of facilities easily accessible. Within the hotel grounds, guests can enjoy the fully equipped gym, tennis court, luxurious spa facilities, restaurants, bars, and more.

About the area
Villa Vanado is on the grounds of the eco resort Château de Berne, located near the towns of Lorgues and Flayosc in beautiful Provence. The villa is just three minutes’ drive from the main chateau-hotel, which focuses on wine, gastronomy, nature, wellbeing, and sport, offering a variety of activities and facilities to guests.
Guests can tour the organic vineyards and enjoy wine tastings, or take a cooking class with the estate’s chefs. There are also two bars and three restaurants on-site, including a Michelin-rated restaurant that has received a green star for sustainable gastronomy.
For active guests, there are six marked hiking trails on the estate, spanning over 100 km of farmland, vineyards, forests and a river. There are also four well-maintained mountain biking trails, a tennis court, a fully-equipped gym and plenty of space for yoga sessions amongst the vineyards.
For days of rest, the estate boasts an on-site spa with two outdoor pools, a heated indoor pool with swim jets, a sauna, a steam room, Jacuzzis, and a relaxation area with a sun terrace and herbal tea room.
