Nestled in the Provencal countryside, Villa Fito is the perfect base for a relaxing getaway with loved ones. Set within the 18th-century Château de Berne grounds, the villa offers access to unbeatable hotel facilities whilst allowing guests the comfort of a private villa.
In the vast gardens stretching over two hectares, guests can take a dip in the heated swimming pool, enjoy a game of boules, soak up the sun rays from a poolside lounger, or relax under the shade of an olive tree. A large stone pool house is perfect for al fresco meals and social barbecues. There is also a hidden courtyard with a relaxing fountain, which provides a tranquil hideaway for a relaxing siesta.
Indoors, high ceilings with exposed beams create an open and welcoming atmosphere. On the upper floor is a vast living room with two sets of cosy sofas – one by the TV and one surrounding a charming fireplace. Bookshelves line the walls, offering a library of reading material for guests. Adjoining the living room is a spacious, dine-in kitchen, fully-equipped for preparing delicious meals, and offering direct garden access at each end.
On the lower floor is a cinema room for family film nights. Its floor-to-ceiling windows and glass doors allow direct access to the terrace and gardens.
Across the two floors are five well-appointed bathrooms, all with en-suite facilities. Two rooms boast super-king-size beds whilst the others have double or twin beds, great for group flexibility. The master bedroom has its own private terrace, whilst the others all have direct access to the stunning gardens.
The villa is around three minutes’ drive from the hotel, providing easy access to its vast range of facilities. Guests can enjoy the restaurants and bars, make use of the gym, tennis courts and spa, enjoy a cooking class or wine tasting experience, or go cycling and hiking along the marked trails within the 1000-hectare estate.

About the area
Villa Fito lies within the grounds of Château de Berne, between the towns of Lorgues and Flayosc in Provence. The chateau-hotel focuses on wine, gastronomy, nature, wellbeing, and sport.
Gastronomes can enjoy tours of the organic vineyards, followed by a wine tasting, or cook up a feast with the hotel’s chefs in the cooking school. There are also two bars and three restaurants on-site, including a Michelin-rated restaurant that has received a green star for sustainable gastronomy.
The estate has received the highest rating of the High Environmental Value (HVE) certification for several years, making it a haven for nature lovers. There are six marked hiking trails on the estate, spanning over 100 km, including farmland, vineyards, forests and a river; there are also four well-maintained mountain biking trails.
The on-site spa is a haven of relaxation with two outdoor pools, a heated indoor pool with swim jets, a sauna, steam room, Jacuzzis, and a relaxation area with a herbal tea room and sun terrace.
