Stretching across three acres of tropical land, the property is perched above the South Pacific on Taveuni Island, offering a magnificent 180-degree view overlooking the Somosomo Strait.
This awe-inspiring beachfront retreat is surrounded by a lush tropical rainforest and swaying palm trees, creating an oasis of serenity where guests can be pampered in privacy with the ultimate luxury. This world-class retreat offers not only a heaven-like exotic setting but also understated luxury with five-star comfort and tropical island lifestyle experiences.
Flanked by beautiful palm trees, the three-sided infinity swimming pool is ideally situated to give stunning ocean views. A series of steps leads down to the private beach, or guests can just stroll through the tropical gardens filled with palm trees, along with banana, papaya, pineapple, orange and lemon trees.
To take full advantage of the beauty of the surrounding natural landscape, the villa’s outdoor area boasts large verandas with a wraparound deck and a dining/observation deck, perfect for soaking up the sun during the day and gazing at a star-filled sky at night.
The villa can sleep up to four adults in two exquisitely decorated suites connected by a central living room. The two king-sized bedrooms are designed to maximise the stunning ocean and garden views. The master bedroom includes large bi-fold doors that lead to the wraparound deck for lovely romantic moments. Both bathrooms provide twin honeymoon showers and outdoor bathtubs to fully embrace the exotic island lifestyle.
Guests are pampered by a full team of 12 staff. The dedicated chefs will entice guests with memorable culinary experiences. Considering the guests’ dietary preferences, the chefs will create menus to showcase Fijian-influenced dishes and other taste combinations inspired by many different cultures throughout the Pacific region. To make the dining experience even more memorable, it is possible to choose between eight dining locations.
The service offered at Raiwasa Villa is second-to-none, as the attentive staff will ensure that guests leave with unique memories from engaging in unique cultural experiences such as a private traditional Fijian kava ceremony, coconut husking, basket weaving, a private cultural Lovo night, and much more.

Raiwasa Villa is situated in Taveuni, Fiji’s third largest island, known as the Garden Island. Taveuni is a beautiful volcanic island, well known for its lush and colourful vegetation, taking into account that 60% of the land is covered with tropical rainforests.
Moreover, it is a real haven for diving enthusiasts as the coral reefs and exotic marine life in the warm crystal clear waters create a magnificent diving destination. Taveuni’s Rainbow Reef is close to the Indo-Pacific centre of coral reefs where the world’s greatest concentration of marine biodiversity is found. Here, there are nearly 300 species of hard coral and 1,200 species of reef fish.
Taveuni also boasts an eye-catching array of birdlife, with about 80 species of terrestrial and freshwater birds.
Visitors who want to explore the area on land will be amazed by the awe-inspiring experiences, with guided hikes through the remote villages to breath-taking waterfalls and natural water slides. The hosts will also introduce guests to the traditional cultural ceremonies.
Getting to Raiwasa Villa:
From Nadi International Airport on Fiji’s main island, visitors will take a one-hour flight to the island of Taveuni. The flight to the island is itself an experience since the bird’s eye view of the scenic outer islands and sparking waters of the South Pacific is breath-taking.
Guests can treat themselves with private planes or helicopter transfers to/from Taveuni. Guests of Raiwasa Villa are welcomed upon arrival and driven to the villa, which is only a short distance from Taveuni’s Matei airport.
