A traditional Caribbean villa with infinity pool overlooking Britannia Bay
Nestled in its own private gardens on the west coast of Mustique Island, Villa Tortuga overlooks the Caribbean Sea and the surrounding beaches and islands.
The villa’s focal point is its two-level cascading infinity swimming pool right at the centre of the property, which offers panoramic views and is perfect for rest and relaxation. In front of the pool is a vast sun deck with twin gazebos at either end – one an outdoor lounge and one a dining area, perfect for al fresco meals with a view.
Throughout the outdoor space, there are several more sun decks and terraces, allowing for quieter spaces to retreat to with a morning coffee or holiday read.
Indoors, the villa seamlessly combines traditional Caribbean design with chic Italian furnishings. The living and dining rooms are very generous and have a glamourous style featuring natural ivory and rattan furniture. The high-beamed ceiling maintains the cool ambience whilst the selection of simple local artefacts roots the villa amidst its location perfectly.
Five well-appointed bedrooms are spread throughout the property, each with an en-suite bathroom. The master bedroom has a king-sized four-poster bed, has been decorated in rich fabrics and carefully chosen individual pieces of furniture, and boasts a private terrace with sea views. The remaining bedrooms either have queen or king-size beds, and terrace access to admire the views.
Villa Tortuga offers guests the perfect space to relax and enjoy the delights of Mustique Island from their own private residence. Its spectacular swimming pool, panoramic views, and elegant interiors combine to create an unforgettable and luxurious home-from-home.

Location
Villa Tortuga is located on Mustique Island, the third largest island in the Grenadines.
Fifty years ago, Mustique was bought by Lord Glennconner and after he offered a plot to Princess Margaret, the island started to receive interest from the media and became a well-known holiday destination.
There are two bodies of water surrounding Mustique: the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean and there are many beaches for visitors to explore. The main beaches are Macaroni Bay with great waves and a grass area in which to picnic, and Lagoon Beach on the quieter Caribbean Sea, which is perfect for families with small children, and offers a picnic area by the lagoon.
There are a host of activities to enjoy on the island, from the legendary house parties where guests from different villas get to know each other, to scuba diving or sailing, to horse riding and tennis. Guests can also enjoy relaxing spa treatments by their swimming pool.
Many visitors are so charmed by island life, the unequivocal hospitality and friendliness of the staff, and the sense of wellbeing this holiday island gives them, that they fall under its spell, returning year after year.
