Set on 100 metres of Caribbean beachfront, The Great House offers the ultimate luxury escape in Barbados. Fully staffed and sleeping up to 28 guests, it is the ideal villa for a large group getaway or memorable destination event.
Surrounded by 2.5 acres of manicured tropical gardens, the villa offers plenty of outdoor space to soak up the sunshine and sea air. It is split between the main estate, which faces the sparkling waters of the Caribbean, and a smaller estate on the land side, with lush garden views.
On the water side, a large infinity pool is flanked by a sprawling deck dotted with sun loungers. A beachfront bar is perfect for enjoying relaxed drinks and woodfire pizzas, whilst multiple shady gazebos offer plenty of space for al fresco dining, socialising, and entertaining. The pool area leads through to a central bar flanked by vibrant aquariums.
On the land side, guests can enjoy manicured gardens and verdant lawns dotted with lily ponds. Amongst these are a floodlit, US Open-style tennis court and a large games room with a pool table, air hockey, table tennis set and more to entertain all ages. Moreover, guests can enjoy a cinema room, a fully-equipped gym, and a spa room for luxurious treatments. For corporate groups, there is also a library and a conference room with a workstation perfect for meetings and remote working.
To allow guests to make the most of the surrounding waters, they also have access to a captained 33-foot luxury motorboat and an 18-foot speedboat equipped with ride-on inflatables, SUPs, snorkel gear and kayaks.
The interiors of the property feature pale colour palettes, natural materials and classic furnishings to create a relaxed and homely feel without compromising on luxury.
Up to 28 guests — or 30 with the use of a sofa bed — can be accommodated in 12 stunning suites spread across five separate buildings. All boast en-suite facilities and private terraces, balconies, or courtyards.

About the area
The Great House lies on a stretch of sand between Mullins Beach and Speightstown in Barbados.
Steeped in history, Speightstown, offers a charming blend of old and new. Founded in the 1630s, it was once a bustling port. Today, colourful colonial buildings line the streets, while art galleries and trendy restaurants add modern flair.
Less crowded than some of the island’s more popular beaches, Mullins Beach boasts soft white sands lined with palm trees and clear waters, perfect for swimming.
As the birthplace of rum, a visit to a distillery whilst in Barbados is a must. Mount Gay Distillery is the oldest in the world, with over 300 years of experience behind it.
