Be at one with nature on an exclusive eco-luxury private island
Cousine Island is a place like no other, found in the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. Sail away and come to be part of the thriving nature on this pristine island in the Seychelles archipelago. Enjoy the ultimate seclusion in this ecological haven and indulge the highest level of luxury. The island is a rare jewel, considered one of the most eco-friendly and sustainable private islands on the planet.
This paradisiacal island is home to thousands of nesting seabirds each year. Giant tortoises, hawksbill turtles, wedge-tailed shearwaters, and other species are also part of the island’s rich native fauna.
Discerning guests will be in awe as they experience the natural surroundings whilst being spoilt in the finest luxury. Guests can gather at the central Pavilion, which is the island’s central point for socialising. Everyone can find an ideal entertainment activity, from relaxing with a book in the private library, to taking a refreshing dip in the family pool, enjoying a cocktail at the bar, or trying out a mouth-watering local dish in the open-air dining area.
To provide the highest level of intimacy and seclusion, the island has five separate villas all set in the midst of the luxuriant vegetation and only 30 metres from the beach. Each villa boasts a private swimming pool amongst lush manicured gardens, relaxed outdoor living spaces, and bright and comfortable interiors.
The Presidential Villa features two master suites with dressing rooms and en-suite bathrooms, a spacious lounge and dining area, a fully-equipped kitchen, a study area, a gym and a spacious veranda with a bar, lounge area and barbecue. It sleeps up to four adults and two children, plus there is on-site accommodation for up to two private staff members such as a nanny or personal assistant.
Each of the four Luxury Villas ooze a romantic ambience and retains the distinctive French colonial design of the Seychelles’ past. They feature an expansive master bedroom with dressing room and en-suite bathroom, an open-plan lounge and dining area, an intimate kitchen, and furnished verandas at both the front and back of the house. Each villa sleeps up to two adults and one child.
For a luxurious getaway with loved ones, a destination wedding, or a special celebration, a private island experience is unbeatable, making Cousine Island the perfect choice.

Location
Cousine Island is located in the Seychelles archipelago. It is the first exclusive eco-luxury private island in the world to adopt a conservation-based management model where the ecotourism development assures that the revenue made by the hotel is reinvested into the island’s long-term sustainability and conservation.
Guests are encouraged to actively participate in the conservation work by planting indigenous trees and assisting island ecologists in monitoring the endangered sea turtles and migratory birds.
Guests can also enjoy a host of leisure activities on and off shore from spa treatments to beach volleyball to forest walks, and kayaking or paddle boarding to snorkelling and scuba diving in the stunning coral reefs.
To reach the island, guests can fly into Seychelles International Airport on Mahé Island then either take a direct helicopter flight, or a short inner-island flight to Praslin Island where they will be collected by the Cousine’s Catamaran.
Distances (approx.):
Mahé Island – 17 minutes’ helicopter flight
Praslin Island Airport – 20 minutes’ catamaran voyage
