Beside the water is a pool house with a sitting and dining room, a stone-built barbecue and a mini fridge, so guests can while away the hours in comfort. A shady pergola on the pool house terrace provides respite from the heat, though there are plenty of sun loungers around the pool for those keen to soak up the rays.

Closer to main house are several more outdoor living spaces. Lounge and deck chairs are dotted throughout the garden and terraces, providing plenty of options for enjoying a morning coffee or an evening aperitif whilst taking in the spectacular views.

The dining terrace features an eight-seater table and a wood-fire pizza oven, and has easy access to the main kitchen, perfect for al fresco meals on balmy evenings.

Indoors, guests can enjoy traditional features such as beamed ceilings and wooden floors, perfectly blended with contemporary furnishings and modern facilities. A majestic arched window allows light to flood the spacious living room, which boasts plush seating, a stone fireplace, and TV with satellite and cable channels for those relaxed evenings in.

The beautiful country-style kitchen is fully-equipped for cooking up tasty feasts and features a breakfast bar for quite bites and a dining table for more formal meals.

After spending the day relaxing and socialising in the vast grounds, guests can retire to their comfortable suite. Each spacious bedroom – two within the main villa and two in the annex, allowing for extra privacy – boasts a king-size bed and an elegant marble en-suite bathroom.

This luxury residence sits within one of Italy’s most select private country estates. It features its own restaurant specialising in local cuisine, and guests are also granted discounted rates at nearby Antognolla Golf Course, an 18-hole championship course designed by renowned architect Robert Trent Jones Jr.

NB: From the estate entrance there are 3 km of white gravel road to reach the villa. Whilst the road is in good condition, it is not suitable for low-height cars.
