Villa Palm Point has a privileged location on the western tip of Antigua, being situated on its own peninsula. The Jolly Harbour marina, which is a lively area for both families and couples, is just a short walk away and is the departure point for fishing and charter trips, and also yacht rentals. At dusk it is a bustling spot with many fine restaurants and bars.
Antigua is not only surrounded by warm Caribbean waters, but also by awe-inspiring coral reefs such as Cades Reef. It is a haven for people who love diving and snorkelling. (Villa Palm Point supplies snorkelling equipment for their guests). The Jolly Dive Centre is recommended for full PADI training.
There is plenty to do for those who would like an active holiday: laid-back deep-sea fishing expeditions, swimming with stingrays, paddling around the peninsula in one of the villa’s kayaks, and windsurfing, For the more adventurous, there is the option of jet skiing, water skiing and wake boarding.
For the ultimate water sport experience, guests can hire the villa’s stunning Sunseeker Predator sports yacht to explore the coves nearby, dive in deeper waters or unwind on a hidden beach for a romantic picnic.
Because Antigua is a world-famous sailing destination, any sailing enthusiast will feel that they are in heaven on the island. The two largest annual sailing events hosted on the island are the Classic Yacht Regatta and Antigua Sailing week.
