Located on a remote hilltop in Umbria, on the border with Tuscany, the elevated location of this converted farmhouse offers panoramic views over the rolling Tuscan countryside. The villa sleeps up to eight and there is a guest house just 40 metres away, which sleeps six, making this the perfect property for larger gatherings of friends and family.
The property’s gardens boast a large swimming pool and pergolas with outdoor dining settings, ideal for aperitifs as the sun is setting or barbecues with friends and family.
Guests will fall in love with the cosy and warm interior that has been superbly decorated, merging old and new styles. The owners have carefully chosen high-end furniture and antique pieces such as the imposing doors and the eighteenth-century oak-beamed ceilings and terracotta floors.
The main villa’s spacious living room features two sitting areas, a formal dining space, a stunning stone fireplace and large windows to enjoy the surrounding landscapes whilst indoors. The guest house also boasts an open-plan lounge and dining room with a fireplace and large windows.
There are two pretty country kitchens on the property – a fully-equipped kitchen with dining table and garden access in the main villa, and a well-equipped kitchen in the guest house.
The main villa has four bedrooms, three of which are doubles and one can be set up either as a twin or double for extra flexibility; the guest house offers an additional three bedrooms with two double rooms and one twin.
For smaller groups, Villa Ada can be rented on its own, without the guest house.
