Hamlet Rosumarinu or “The Rosemary” is an expansive property comprised of four traditional “shepherd’s houses”, which have been beautifully-fitted with modern amenities. Located on the southern tip of Corsica – in the verdant valleys between the mountains and the sea – the property offers stunning views in all directions.
In the centre of the expansive grounds is a large, heated swimming pool flanked by sun loungers, and a petanque pitch under the shade of olive trees.
A spacious terrace is ideal for al fresco dining and there’s a well-equipped outdoor kitchen with a barbecue, ice machine and coffee maker.
Sleeping up to 16 guests in total, there are three air-conditioned shepherd’s houses with sleeping quarters and one with the main living areas. The layout is perfect for separate families or groups of friends travelling together who can socialise together during the day, and retreat to their own private sanctuary each evening.
Within the main building there is an open-plan living/dining and kitchen area, with a true country style. A relaxing steam room and guest bathroom are adjacent to the main living room, and there’s also a laundry room for guests’ convenience. At the back of the building, a small hallway and staircase leads to the terrace and summer lounge.
The central shepherd’s house is ideal for families, as it is comprised of a large double bedroom and a bunk room with a shared bathroom. The second shepherd’s house also sleeps four across two double bedrooms with private bathrooms and also boats a comfortable sitting area. The third shepherd’s house is the largest – sleeping up to 8 guests – and is comprised of a large double bedroom with private bathroom, and a second double bedroom and quad bunk room, sharing a bathroom.
Hamlet Rosumarinu is part of an estate of over 20 properties with sea, valley, or countryside settings. The nearby Erbaju Beach and Beach restaurant has been especially fitted out for guests of the estate, and there are plenty of other beautiful places to explore in the surrounding area, making it the ideal choice for a relaxing getaway with family and friends.
NB: The roads on the estate are dirt tracks which are not suitable for low-height cars. An SUV or 4×4 vehicle is needed.

About the area
Hamlet Rosumarinu is located in the exclusive Domaine de Murtoli estate on the southern tip of Corsica. The estate features a 12-hole golf course, two restaurants, and access to several beaches, some of which are furnished exclusively for guests.
During the summer months, guests can enjoy a host of activities including kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkelling and scuba diving, fishing tours, and open-air spa sessions.
Throughout all four seasons, guests can take part in fruit and vegetable harvesting from the on-site organic gardens, explore nature on hikes or horse rides, enjoy picnics, or join cooking classes and wine tasting sessions.
The beautiful surroundings and the estate’s facilities are also ideal for weddings and other special occasions, along with corporate events.
