Situated in the Sonalon area of Verbier, Chalet Nyumba is a one-of-a-kind chalet which exudes cosiness and warmth. Nestled in the heights of Verbier, this splendid alpine retreat offers some of the most impressive views of Verbier and the surrounding picturesque landscape.
Vast sun terraces stretch across the front of the property, offering stunning views. Guests can relax in the outdoor lounge areas, catch the afternoon sun from deck chairs, or enjoy a glass of bubbly with a view from the hot tub.
Indoors, the ski chalet is a mix of elegant furnishings, antique touches and chic, colourful undertones. Spread over 500 square metres, there are plenty of areas to relax and socialise.
The highlight is the large spa area with floor-to-ceiling glass doors offering superb views across the valley and mountains beyond. The spa boasts a heated indoor swimming pool and a cold plunge pool, a Jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room, and a treatment room perfect for deep massages to relive tired ski muscles.
The main living area features a dramatic double-height ceiling, comfortable leather sofas surrounding a beautiful fireplace, and alpine detailing mixed with African carvings for a unique atmosphere.
Children will have lots of fun in the large playroom packed with toys and games, whilst parents watch a movie in the cinema room or sip on a glass of wine from the extensive collection found in the chalet’s own cellar.
The property can accommodate up to 14 guests throughout seven beautifully-appointed bedrooms, most with en-suite facilities. Children will be delighted to sleep in their own bunk room or the twin room set in the eaves.
