The hall is set within the Broughton Sanctuary, which spreads across more than 3,000 acres of idyllic English countryside. With its ancient woodlands, rolling hills, and tranquil lakes, the estate is perfect for those looking to get back to nature without compromising on luxury.
The hall’s extensive gardens feature formal terraces, vibrant flowerbeds, and manicured lawns, perfect for hosting memorable events or celebrating special occasions. During the summer months, guests can take a refreshing dip in the outdoor pool or enjoy wild swimming in the estate’s lake.
The estate dates back to the 11th Century, with its current structure having stood since the 18th Century. It is a stunning example of Jacobean architecture with its imposing facade adorned with intricate stonework, and elegant interiors adorned with exquisite furnishings and artwork.
Its opulent reception rooms provide elegant settings for relaxing and socialising. The Great Hall, with its soaring ceilings and impressive fireplace, is a particular highlight, while the elegant Drawing Room and Library offer glimpses into the lives of generations of the Tempest family.
