At the far end of the garden, a 13-metre swimming pool offers respite from the Apulian sunshine. After a refreshing dip, guests can lie on poolside sun loungers and enjoy the sea views.
A paved terrace surrounds the villa, with a sun-shaded outdoor lounge on one side and an outdoor dining table on the other. The villa also features an outdoor kitchen with a barbecue and pizza oven for relaxed al fresco dining.

Five well-appointed suites are spread across the villa’s two floors, comfortably sleeping up to 10 guests. However, for large groups, especially those travelling with children, four suites also feature a private lounge room with a double sofa bed and another en-suite shower room. This can make for a comfortable second bedroom, taking the potential occupancy up to 18 guests. The first-floor suite also boasts a convenient kitchenette and direct access to the roof terraces on either side, boasting panoramic views.

About the area
Villa Serra di Citris is located just outside the pretty coastal town of Polignano a Mare in Apulia. It enjoys a peaceful countryside setting, yet is just minutes from the town’s cafes and bars, and the beaches dotted along the coastline.
Polignano a Mare’s coastline is not long stretches of sand but rather a series of rocky coves flanked by limestone cliffs. Carved into the limestone are hidden coves, many of which are Blue Flag-rated. Lama Monachile, by the town centre, is perhaps the most popular. For calm, shallow waters and impressive Roman ruins, Spaggia San Vito beckons. Another favourite is Cala Porta Vecchia, which lies further down the coast near Monopoli.
One of the best ways to explore the area is by boat. Guests will discover hidden caves and private swimming coves, each with their own unique charm, and dive into crystal-clear, turquoise waters that are a world away from the bustling crowds.
The villa is the perfect base for exploring the many beautiful towns and cities that Apulia has to offer. Within a short drive, guests can venture into the ancient port town of Monopoli, the world-renowned Trulli town of Alberobello, and the vibrant city of Bari.
