Villa Cristina

Beautiful Villa Cristina sits on a large, verdant plot on the mountainside above Lake Como. Sleeping up to 13 guests, it’s ideal for large groups of friends and families looking for a luxury lake holiday.

Set on 12,000 square metres, the villa offers guests total privacy in the most peaceful of surroundings. The lush gardens are filled with hundreds of plant species and dotted with pretty statues and water features, creating a true nature’s paradise. An observation deck with a mounted telescope is the perfect place to take in the incredible lake views.

Within a sunny spot in the gardens is a large heated swimming pool lined with loungers for post-swim sunbathing. On the other side of the villa, guests can while away the afternoons with games of traditional bocce under the shade of lanky pine trees.

A sprawling 120-square-metre terrace spreads along one side of the villa, offering endless lake and mountain views. Guests can relax with their morning coffee in the outdoor lounge area, enjoy al fresco meals overlooking the lake, or take in spectacular sunsets with a glass of bubbly in hand.

Perfectly blending the outdoors and in, the villa’s ground floor features a bright sunroom with panoramic windows. Overlooking the lush lawns and the lake beyond, it’s the ideal place to enjoy the surrounding nature in the cooler months.

There is also a snug living room with a crackling fireplace for cosy evenings, plus a large flat-screen TV ideal for movie nights. Tucked away on this level is also a cosy library and a wine cellar stocked with local tipples.

On the first floor is the main living room with beautiful wooden floors, plenty of plush seating, and more large windows making the most of the views. There are numerous custom-made furniture pieces, luxurious soft furnishings, and carefully curated artefacts throughout, creating a warm yet opulent home-from-home feel.

A state-of-the-art kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, perfect for preparing delicious feasts. The kitchen features a breakfast table for casual meals, whilst elegant dinner parties can be enjoyed in the formal dining room with a spectacular mountain backdrop.

Up to 10 guests can be accommodated in the main villa, which comprises four double and two single bedrooms.

For larger groups, there is a separate guest house comprising one double and one single bedroom, a large kitchen, and a fully-equipped gym. It also boasts its own private terrace with beautiful views.
