The sea is mere steps away, and guests can head to a quiet sea deck, ideal for early morning yoga sessions, afternoon sun bathing, or a quick evening dip. Alternatively, the resort’s private beach is just a short walk or buggy ride away.
Lush Mediterranean vegetation surrounds the villa, providing privacy and plenty of shade. A vast terrace stretches across the property, offering space to relax and appreciate the stunning views. Sun loungers line a 55-metre heated infinity pool, and a cosy outdoor seating area surrounds a bubbling Jacuzzi. There is also an al fresco dining area with direct access to the villa kitchen and an outdoor shower room for guests’ convenience.
The minimalistic interiors draw influences from Japanese and French design for a unique, modern feel. The open-plan living area comprises a lounge area with fireplace for cosy nights in and a wooden dining table for elegant meals. Glass doors on either side open to the villa’s private grounds, allowing cool breezes to flow through the space.
Adjoining the living area is a modern, fully-equipped kitchen with a walk-in pantry and a breakfast table where guests can enjoy morning meals with sea views.

About the area
Villa Uvala is part of the Maslina Resort in Hvar’s Maslinica Bay. Hvar is the sunniest island in Croatia and is known for its contrast of lively nightlife and glamourous clientele with quaint fishing villages and stunning nature.
Stretching over two hectares of lush pine forest, the resort is a short walk from the island’s main port of Stari Grad. It focuses on family, wellness and sustainability. Its restaurant features a healthy farm-to-table concept with many ingredients sourced from the resort’s extensive organic gardens. The gardens also produce herbs and spices used in treatments at the spa. Moreover, the activities for both children and adults alike allow guests to fully immerse themselves in their surroundings, focussing on local nature and culture.
Outside of the resort, Stari Grad has much to explore. It is one of the oldest settlements in Europe, dating back to 384 BC and features a pretty Old Town, UNESCO-protected plains, and waterfront restaurants and cafes.
