Trullo delle Dame
6 Bedrooms — 12 Guests
Traditional Apulian trulli perfectly combined with modern facilities to create a luxurious holiday villa
Trullo delle Dame is a luxurious six-bedroom villa in the heart of Apulia, a region of lush vineyards, olive groves, and conical-roofed trulli. The property is spread over six hectares of land, providing complete privacy and plenty of space to relax and unwind with loved ones.
Within its spacious grounds, the property boasts a heated saltwater infinity pool, lush gardens, and various outdoor living and dining spaces. Guests can lie back on in-water sun loungers, relax on sofa seating, or enjoy casual meals under the shade of a pergola.
There are also two circular stone gazebos providing additional outdoor living spaces. One side of the pool features a gazebo with lounge seating around the edges, creating a cosy space for relaxation. On the other side is the dining gazebo, complete with a barbecue and a wood fire oven, a kitchenette with minifridge, and a large, circular dining table seating 20 guests, perfect for convivial al fresco feasts.
The property is perfect for fitness and wellness enthusiasts; along with a fully-equipped outdoor gym, there is also a padel court amongst the olive trees and an outdoor yoga and massage area. Moreover, younger guests can keep active in the children’s playground.
The villa comprises three separate buildings – the main villa with 10 trulli cones, a two-trulli guest house, and a basement level dependence by the pool.
Within the main building is the heart of the villa – the spacious living room decorated with beautiful furnishings and local artworks. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer views over the garden and pool; they flood the space with light, amplified by the white stone walls. There are plush sofas surrounding a flat screen TV and a one-of-a-kind dining table with a glass tabletop over a carved tree trunk stand.
Off the living room is a fully-equipped kitchen with a central island with a breakfast bar.
The main building is home to three bedrooms, including the spacious master, all under their own trulli and featuring double beds and en-suite facilities. Two more en-suite double bedrooms are located in the trullini guest house, with their own entrance and private patio. Finally, a sixth double bedroom is in a separate dependence, located on the basement level, accessible via a garden staircase.
With its vast grounds, spacious indoor and outdoor living areas, and excellent facilities, Trullo delle Dame perfectly blends authenticity with modernity, creating a truly luxurious holiday haven.
NB: For larger groups of up to 22 guests, Trullo delle Dame may be booked with neighbouring Trullo dei Pumi. The properties share some common areas including a massage area, children’s playground, and vegetable garden.

About the area
Trullo delle Dame is located on the outskirts of the town of Cisternino, which is part of the renowned Valle d’Itria region of Apulia. The region is known for its rolling countryside covered in vineyards and olive groves, its picturesque towns, and – most famously – its conical-roofed Trulli.
Cisternino is a quintessential Apulian hillside town. It is a labyrinth of white stone streets and alleyways surrounding the main square of Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, which is the heart of the town. The town is famous for its barbecuing butchers, who cook with their doors open, serving diners directly from grill to street.
The nearby towns of Ostuni and Alberobello are not to be missed. Ostuni is famed for its beautiful whitewashed old town and its 15th century cathedral, whilst Alberobello is a picture-postcard town with over 1500 trulli lining its narrow pedestrianised streets.
The coastline known as the Riviera dei Trulli is around 20 minutes away, offering guests the chance to enjoy sandy beaches and quaint fishing villages.
