It’s just a short drive to the beaches and marina of Port de Pollenca and Alcudia, and the town of Pollenca, which is made up of pretty boutiques and winding lanes, perfect for exploring.
The Pollenca peninsula is home to pine forests, nature reserves, rocky bays, and pretty, sandy beaches. Visitors can walk to the top of Cap de Formentor to visit the clifftop lighthouse – the highest in the Balearic Islands – and enjoy views over the waters and surrounding islands, all the way to Menorca on a clear day.
Nearby Formentor features beautiful Blue Flag Beaches, whilst neighbouring Alcúdia is home to the neo-Gothic Sant Jaume Church built into the walls surrounding the well-preserved town.
Palma is just under an hour’s drive away and here, visitors can enjoy stylish bars, trendy cafes and restaurants, and chic fashion boutiques.
